Membership Structure & Plan

The Urban Array platform is built around the energy of its membership. The incentive structures exist in order to allow the platform to multiply the efforts of a driven community.

When a new member joins the UA network, they’re given access to a platform where they can contribute time, money and resources in exchange for experience, expertise and investment in projects and businesses. A new member must first complete our onboarding process, which culminates in the submission of five, 30-second selfies of guided questions that act as a user verification. This unlocks a Reputation Score for the member. Everyone starts at Level 0.

Reputation is a function of:

1. Work: time contributed, representing all energy put into the network
2. Activity: tasks completed
3. Quality: objective and subjective review from other members

For all Work completed within the network, two things are created:

1. RRAY: the network’s medium of exchange and day to day currency
2. SEED: the network’s Long-term Investment Utility, which pays a dividend after a project is profitable

Member Growth Plan

In the next 12 months, launch three nodes in the nest, based on:

• Community engagement
• Entrepreneur groups
• U/A membership and support capabilities

In the next 18 months, open three Impact Studios:

To get here, we’ll create a video pitching platform where people can submit and vote on the best ideas. Twenty-five votes gets you to the next round, which is a live video conference call that we share with the entire network to aggregate feedback. 

The platform uses a simple star rating system to signal project support, need and viability.
