The rooftop greenhouse and indoor vertical farm will both be sustainable and aesthetically pleasing additions to the AIE. We identified that the community asked for a mixed use space with contemporary design which would foster sustainability and growth, so this is what we conceived.
Located directly beside the restaurant space to elevate the al fresco dining experience for our guests, the greenhouse will be used to grow a large variety of crops that will be utilized by the chefs in residency at The Duæl. The greenhouse will require 3,300 gsf and the indoor vertical farm will cover 23,000 gsf and will each be used to teach individuals who desire to learn how to cultivate and maintain agriculture.
