Array Innovation Exchange and Museum of Black Technology & Engineering (AIE) aims to open access to black and other minority groups to technology tools and training, entrepreneurship opportunities, workforce skills training, financial literacy education, mentors and funding as a way to empower broken BIPOC economies to thrive.
Our vision is to start breaking down the existing system of interconnected disadvantages kept in place for generations by infusing a dose of confidence and capital into projects with the potential to revive Chicago’s underserved neighborhoods.
The Museum of Black Technology and Engineering (MBTE) will be a light-filled, contemporary space for people from all over Chicago and beyond to come visit South Shore and celebrate black innovation.
